This video was shot over two days to visually document the problems with the parking at Monash University Sunway Campus. Based on cursory looks at the parking condition each successive day after the filming, the situation does not appear to be getting any better at all. Cars are sprawled all over any available area and the once blocked-off road near the Western car park is now being used for parking right up to and at times crossing the Sunway Monash Residence (SMR) boundaries.

According to an email sent to each Monash student account last week, the Monash Shuttle Bus Service will soon be available starting from Thursday, 2nd May 2013. An information session will be held tomorrow, 30th April 2013 at the Plenary Theatre however as of this writing, the registration is already closed.

An Annual General Meeting will also be held by the MUSA Council members tomorrow evening from 6.30pm to 8.30pm at the Plenary Theatre. Melvin Shawn D’Silva, the current MUSA President, will be presenting on the parking issue among other topics for the night. For further updates, do check back at the MUSA Facebook page often.

 Less congested at 7:30pm but several cars remain at the spots where they have been forced to park due to lack of space. 29th April 2013
