MUSA DID WHAT #4: Nothing Much To See Here

A Celebration of Diversity!

Monash has always been known for its ethnically diverse community and it is finally time for our international student community to proudly display their culture and traditions through the One World event that has been organized by MUISS. Held on the 16th and 17th at the foyer area, this two day event will feature food, games and activities unique to each international student community. It will also provide local students with the opportunity to immerse themselves in a multicultural experience. The following countries will be participating in One World so do look out for their booths:

  1. Malaysia
  2. Korea
  3. Sri Lanka
  4. Bangladesh
  5. Pakistan
  6. India
  7. Indonesia
  8. Mauritius
  9. Africa
  10. China

Academic Subsidy

For those who are eagerly waiting for the announcement of this semester’s academic subsidy, the Welfare Department is currently waiting on the funds, so don’t fret and look out for their announcement on @musa.cares!

Pharmaengineering

Given the success of last year’s pharmaenginnering, the School of Pharmacy and School of Engineering are in the midst of finalizing the events and games that will be held for the event, after receiving feedback from last year’s participants. Also, you didn’t hear this from me, but I heard that the schools have managed to secure sponsorships from Murad and Waka Waka Gelato for the event!

Something Special Brewing in MONGA

I really shouldn’t be telling you guys this, but there might be a special little project brewing in the Editor’s office which is expected to be released in the first week of Semester 2 (wink wink).

Hint: Art Gallery.

I truly believe this is the shortest MUSA DID WHAT I’ve written (mainly because it’s Week 10 and my brain feels like it has been stomped on and dragged through the mud). But good luck to everyone for the rest of the semester, JUST TWO MORE WEEKS GUYS WE GOT THIS!
