As the end of the academic year looms, the thought of the following events are the only thing keeping me going.
TEDx Rescheduling
The Vice President’s flagship event has been postponed to what will most likely be the 3rd week of October due to clashes with Monash’s 25th Anniversary Celebration which will be taking place on the 6th of October, consisting of a bazaar by MBC and performances by RESORT, JAIE and SHN.
Monash Ball
Now for the event that we’ve all been eagerly waiting for where we can literally and figuratively let our hair down: Monash Ball!! Here’s the tea
The venue has not been confirmed however final discussions are in the works. The event will be held on the 18th of November (mark your calendars guys!) from 6pm to 11pm and the theme of this year will revolve around the MET gala, with each table being delegated a different sub-theme for the night. So dress to impress!
Wellness Week
As we are all aware, Week 10 is definitely one of the most exhausting, with assignments hitting us left and right, the Welfare department is one again here to save us all from a full blown burnout. Their flagship event Wellness Weeks is currently in the works and will be held on the 11th week of the semester.
Code Red Care Package
To my girlies, the Wom*ns Department once again has our back with their code red care package, with 250 packages going to be distributed by Week 11.
Conclusion
No highlights for this round because the article is barely a page long, so to everyone who is reading this persevere and we can get through the next 2 weeks (hopefully) without a hitch!
