The Man in White

Legends tell of a man in white, with a glowing guise and a gentle smile. Snow white hair waves past his neck, and a white coat covers his body, that is spotless and clean. Townsfolk caught glimpses of him, in buildings, churches, cemeteries. He is present yet absent all around the town. A ghost? an angel? nobody knows. But I know the righteous revere him, and the wicked fear him. Darkness itself hides from him, from the fire in his eyes. He protected me from lurking evil that night, banishing it with a single word of might.
