On the splendid day of March 30th, 2024, our beloved Activities department orchestrated a spectacle like no other – MUSA Wars! It was all about fun, games and bringing our MUSA community closer together.

Imagine this: the courts were abuzz with excitement as registrations opened. Students eagerly chatted, asking each other about their MUSA departments and sharing jokes while waiting in line and figuring out their groups. As a new MUSA member, I was thrilled to be a part of such an event. I found myself amidst a group of strangers, each a kaleidoscope of personalities. Which made it a thrilling opportunity to connect with fellow students in a way that was entirely new and refreshing for me.
The day kicked off with the Newspaper Runaway, a spectacle of creativity where groups fashioned costumes out of newspaper, drawing inspirations from themes like Ben10, Snow White, Star Wars, and many more. The level of creativity and imagination on display was positively scandalous, with groups going above and beyond to bring their themes to life.

As the day progressed, we dove into a series of exhilarating games. From the classics to the high-stake Red-Light, Green Light, which was a thrilling test of speed, resembling the tension-filled moments from the show. But it was The Running Man that stole the show – a heart-pounding race where competitors dashed around the basketball court, vying to snatch tags off their opponents backs. Let me tell you, no one was safe trying to outmaneuver their rivals.

Throughout the event, there was an undeniable sense of camaraderie and unity, as we cheered each other on and reveled in the spirit. To add a touch of whimsy, the losers of the day’s games were invited to partake in an amusing yet cringe-worthy Tiktok trend, an end to a day of friendly fire. One of the highlights of the day was the Newspaper Runaway, the group who chose the theme Star Wars. It was amazing to see how they transformed simple newspapers into costumes worthy of the big screen.
As the event drew to a close, we were left with fond memories, tons of pictures and videos to cherish forever, serving as a reminder that in MUSA, there are no limits to what we can achieve when we come together as a community. Here’s to the next chapter of our MUSA Journey.
