A completely unbiased opinion, MUSA is actually operating comparatively smoothly considering that no arguments broke out, zero warning letters issued, minimal to no conflict resolutions required, we might be jinxing ourselves but MUSA’s trajectory seems rather positive.
An Anticlimatic Farewell to MUISS Interim CRO
Following the decision made by the interim CRO to resign from her position in MUSA, a motion was called to appoint a new replacement. Nicholas Senjaya successfully garnered two-thirds of the vote, absorbing him into the position.
Annual Elections to Champion Student Democracy
The preliminary stages of MUSA’s annual election is in process, with the Election Commission successfully recruited and appointed. A training and candidate briefing will be conducted on the 13th September. If you’re interested in progressing student affairs in Monash on a macro scale, take our jobs and do much better at it than we are. If not, make sure to exercise your right to vote for your student representatives.
Events Coming Your Way
Plenty of events are being planned and are currently happening. Monash Cup is currently ongoing with many events running simultaneously and the campus still busy after hours. TEDx hosted and organised by the vice presidents department is building up on its scaffolds. All speakers have been confirmed and an exciting line up of performances is to be awaited.
Engage with the idea of positive reinforcement and disregard mercury currently in retrograde. We’re approaching the middle of our semester, lock in hard, attend events, and crash out with a cigarette.
