They say that as you age, you always regret the things you didn’t do over the things that you have done.
We’re taught to think before we act, to go through every possible scenario before hesitantly taking the plunge. And for what? So that we can be like everyone else? This is our last chance to be ourselves, as ostentatious and obnoxious as we can be, no matter what everyone else says.
Because honestly? Life often feels like it’s just a handful of us against the world, with adults saying we need to “behave like this” or “dress a certain way” because it’s proper. It’s right. They try to shove us into their self-made comfort zones when we are and can be so much more than that. So, for one magical, lawless night, we need to fight back. It’s time for us to break free from the chains that restrain us and just allow the winds of change to take us where it pleases.
We may never know where we’re going to end up, but we can sure as hell make the most of the journey while we’re getting there.
Because what are you going to remember? That one night you played it safe and stayed in because it was the right thing to do? Or the night that you flipped off the rest of the world and decided to say “f*** it” and do whatever you wanted? To allow the tiny seed of rebellion inside to sweep you away, consequences be damned?
Midnight Memoirs is all about celebrating the rebel in you, about celebrating that one crazy, drunken night, that one unforgettable party, that one exotic stranger you hooked up with at 3am night that you will never properly remember, that one earth-shattering (even maybe slightly illegal) leap into the void.
So, buckle up ladies and gentlemen because being bad will never feel this good again.
