How do you surprise someone?
Have your camera crew ready and get someone famous to catch the victim at his/her most unexpected to say, “Hey, your dream will become a reality!” and the rest, is history.
Aric Ting, 21, is MTV World Stage’s new Insider responsible for bringing people the inside scoop of the upcoming MTV World Stage (to be held on August 16 at Sunway Lagoon).
The MTV crew, along with VJ Alan, made an appearance in Monash University Malaysia to surprise Aric. The students and administrators of Monash around them witnessed the entire event unfold.
“I would like to thank my friends for planning this behind my back and my family for supporting me. I saw the search for an Insider on TV and I’ve always dreamt of hosting my own show or be a host on TV. I’m glad I just threw caution to the wind!” said the 3rd year student of School of Arts & Social Sciences.
