Neutrandrogyne

“Neutrandogyne” by Layan (Lay) Alkaf

This piece is inspired by César Biojo’s portraits. Painted using oil paint then digitised with the neutrandrogyne flag as the background, representing the masculine and feminine expressions.

My intent behind this piece is to showcase both the difference and similarity, essentially dissolving the split between the two gender expressions. This is emphasised by the abstract faces, merely conveying the facial features of the portraits.
